Updated Outlook for iOS has been released with search improvements
Outlook lets you bring all your email accounts and calendars in one convenient spot. Whether it is staying on top of your inbox or scheduling the next big thing, they have made it easy to be your most productive, organized, and connected self.
What’s new in this version?
Search is now front and center with this recent update, giving it its own tab in their new simplified navigation bar.
Here’s what they have enhanced:
A brand new spot for your search icon, at the bottom of the app. Tap on it to get direct access to your top contacts, upcoming travel itineraries, package deliveries and also to your recent attachments.
You can search for emails, files, and contacts in any of your accounts from one single search box.
Use their new filters to narrow down your search. Focus your search on a single account from the menu inside of the search bar or sort your results to only show emails with attachments.
In new search experience your contacts and files are now integrates directly. Therefore you can access them by tapping on the headers of the different sections.
These changes will be progressively rolling out in the next few weeks. If you don’t see them yet, they should appear in your app soon.
You can download Microsoft Outlook from the App Store for free.
